Thus Spoke G’Kar

A follower of G’Kar came to him and said, “G’Kar! You are a hero to our people. You can’t leave us. You have a duty and an obligation to stay.”

G’Kar replies, “I don’t owe anyone anything. I will do as I wish to do.”

The follower says, “But I have spent all my money to come to this place just to hear you!”

G’kar replies to him, “I am not responsible for your choices in your life. You can do whatever you wish to do but do not blame me for your choices.”

“But we have made you what you are! Without us, you would be nothing!”

And G’Kar says, “Then I am nothing.”
